My curriculum:
Sara Musumeci, born 1991 in Giarre, is a young and very promising sicilian artist.
Despite her activity as organist, pianist and musicologist, she obtained the Diplôme de Virtuosité and Diplôme de Concert at Schola Cantorum of Paris with teacher Jean-Paul Imbert. Before she already studied pianoforte with Giuseppe Cantone, Violetta Egorova and Epifanio Comis, with whom she graduate in 2014 at the Musical Institute "V. Bellini" a Catania.
At the same time, she having graduate in musicology in 2016 with honors.
She participated in several Masterclasses in Organ with Giovannimaria Perrucci, Alberto Mammarella, Gabriele Catalucci, Diego Cannizzaro, Aart Bergwerff, Paolo Oreni. Further she took part in a Masterclass of Organ building with Franco Olivieri and Masterclasses in Pianoforte organised by the Music Conservatory of Paris and the sicilian Accademy of Pianoforte.
Since 2015, she is regularly asked to teach in Seminars in collaboration with the University of Palermo and cultural and artistic Associations in the Region of Catania and also teaching Pianoforte at the Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa's school and the "Institute of high culture - Tisia" of Catania.
In 2019 she won the Second Prize at the International Organ Competition “Timorgelfest” in Romania and the First Prize at the 1 International Organ Competition in Malta.
